Abde Mtibaa Associate Professor Computer Science University of Missouri-St. Louis
I am an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL), where I conduct research in computer networks, cybersecurity, and resilient distributed systems. My work focuses on designing secure, adaptive, and intelligent network architectures capable of operating under adversarial and uncertain conditions.
My research is supported by the National Science Foundation, including participation in the highly competitive RINGS Program (Resilient & Intelligent Next-Generation Systems). I also serve as Director of the Cybersecurity Program at UMSL, where I lead curriculum development and workforce initiatives aligned with emerging security and networking challenges.
My research interests include Secure and resilient network architectures, Named Data Networking (NDN) and data-centric security, Cloud and edge system security, Intelligent routing and adaptive forwarding, and Wireless and next-generation network security.
